Cody Demerais is an award-winning Métis entrepreneur, keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, life coach, and author based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. His work is rooted in resilience, personal development, and timeless life lessons that empower individuals and organizations to grow with clarity, purpose, and intention.

Cody’s journey is grounded in lived experience. Raised by a single mother and working from the age of 11 to support himself, he developed resilience early in life—but also faced deep struggles with identity, belonging, and direction. These challenges eventually led to substance dependency, mental health battles, and a life-altering car accident that resulted in PTSD and a suicide attempt.

That moment became a turning point.

Instead of giving up, Cody chose to rebuild his life with intention. Through years of personal development, healing, and disciplined growth, he transformed his experiences into a message of hope, responsibility, and leadership. Today, he travels across Canada speaking at schools, conferences, treatment centres, and professional organizations—sharing hard-earned and timeless life lessons that help people move forward without having to learn the hard way.

Cody’s presentations focus on mental wellness, personal leadership, resilience, and belief—bridging real-world experience with practical insights that resonate with growth-minded audiences. His work consistently leaves individuals feeling grounded, empowered, and capable of creating meaningful change in their own lives.

Family Above All

Beyond the stage, Cody’s most important role is being a husband and father. He credits his wife and children as his greatest motivation and the foundation behind everything he does. Living by the values of presence, gratitude, and legacy, Cody believes that the most meaningful success begins at home—and that strong families build strong communities.
